  1                 A reviser's bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Statutes;

  3         repealing ss. 110.116(2), 197.1722,

  4         215.555(16), 261.06(12), 288.063(11),

  5         338.2216(5), 372.60, 375.041(6), 401.113(4),

  6         403.1838(4), 403.7095(7), 409.1671(1)(m),

  7         468.805, 489.118(2)(b), 553.8412, and

  8         1010.78(2), F.S., all of which provisions have

  9         become inoperative by noncurrent repeal or

10         expiration and, pursuant to s. 11.242(5)(b) and

11         (i), may be omitted from the Florida Statutes

12         2004 only through a reviser's bill duly enacted

13         by the Legislature; and repealing s.

14         440.185(11), F.S., to confirm the October 2,

15         2003, repeal of an exemption in accordance with

16         the Open Government Sunset Review Act of 1995.

18  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

19  

20         Section 1.  Subsection (2) of section 110.116, Florida

21  Statutes, is repealed.

22  

23         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

24         relates to department authorization to contract

25         with a vendor to provide the personnel

26         information system for state agencies for the

27         2002-2003 fiscal year only, expired pursuant to

28         its own terms, effective July 1, 2003.

30         Section 2.  Section 197.1722, Florida Statutes, is

31  repealed.

 1         Reviser's note.--The cited section, which

 2         relates to a waiver of certain mandatory

 3         charges relating to property taxes due for the

 4         2001 tax year only, was repealed pursuant to

 5         its own terms, effective April 1, 2003.

 7         Section 3.  Subsection (16) of section 215.555, Florida

 8  Statutes, is repealed.

10         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

11         relates to a specified percentage for certain

12         funds disbursement for the 2002-2003 fiscal

13         year only, expired pursuant to its own terms,

14         effective July 1, 2003.

16         Section 4.  Subsection (12) of section 261.06, Florida

17  Statutes, is repealed.

19         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

20         requires a review and report to determine the

21         feasibility of providing public access for

22         off-highway vehicle recreation and trails on

23         public lands, expired pursuant to its own

24         terms, effective July 1, 2003.

26         Section 5.  Subsection (11) of section 288.063, Florida

27  Statutes, is repealed.

30         relates to designation and funding of projects

 5         Section 6.  Subsection (5) of section 338.2216, Florida

 6  Statutes, is repealed.

 8         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

 9         relates to turnpike toll collectors and

10         laborers being temporarily continued in career

11         service for the 2002-2003 fiscal year only,

12         expired pursuant to its own terms, effective

13         July 1, 2003.

15         Section 7.  Section 372.60, Florida Statutes, is

16  repealed.

18         Reviser's note.--The cited section, which

19         relates to issuance of a replacement hunting or

20         fishing license or permit, was repealed by s.

21         39, ch. 2002-46, Laws of Florida, effective

22         July 1, 2003. Since the section was not

23         repealed by a "current session" of the

24         Legislature, it may be omitted from the 2004

25         Florida Statutes only through a reviser's bill

26         duly enacted by the Legislature. See s.

27         11.242(5)(b) and (i).

29         Section 8.  Subsection (6) of section 375.041, Florida

30  Statutes, is repealed.

 1         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

 2         specifies that, for the 2002-2003 fiscal year

 3         only, use of funds allocated to the Land

 4         Acquisition Trust Fund shall be as provided in

 5         the General Appropriations Act, expired

 6         pursuant to its own terms, effective July 1,

 7         2003.

 9         Section 9.  Subsection (4) of section 401.113, Florida

10  Statutes, is repealed.

12         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

13         relates to use of moneys in the Emergency

14         Medical Services Trust Fund, for the 2002-2003

15         fiscal year only, for the purpose of funding

16         the rural hospital capital improvement grant

17         program in accordance with s. 395.6061, expired

18         pursuant to its own terms, effective July 1,

19         2003.

21         Section 10.  Subsection (4) of section 403.1838,

22  Florida Statutes, is repealed.

24         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

25         authorizes the Department of Environmental

26         Protection to waive a specified requirement in

27         certain funding agreements, expired pursuant to

28         its own terms, effective July 1, 2003.

30         Section 11.  Subsection (7) of section 403.7095,

31  Florida Statutes, is repealed.

 2         provides that the Department of Environmental

 3         Protection shall provide solid waste management

 4         and recycling grants only to counties with

 7         terms, effective July 1, 2003.

 9         Section 12.  Paragraph (m) of subsection (1) of section

10  409.1671, Florida Statutes, is repealed.

12         Reviser's note.--The cited paragraph, which

13         provides that, for the 2002-2003 fiscal year

14         only, the Department of Children and Family

15         Services may combine the current

16         community-based care lead agency contracts for

17         Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties into a

18         single contract, expired pursuant to its own

19         terms, effective July 1, 2003.

21         Section 13.  Subsection (11) of section 440.185,

22  Florida Statutes, is repealed.

24         Reviser's note.--The cited subsection, which

25         relates to confidentiality of a report of

26         injury or illness filed pursuant to s. 440.185

27         that would identify an ill or injured employee,

28         is repealed to confirm the October 2, 2003,

29         repeal of an exemption in accordance with s.

30         119.15, the Open Government Sunset Review Act

31         of 1995.

 5         grandfathered certain persons practicing

 6         orthotics, prosthetics, or pedorthics for

 7         purposes of licensure provisions for a

 8         specified period of time, was repealed pursuant

 9         to its own terms, effective July 1, 2003.

11         Section 15.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section

12  489.118, Florida Statutes, is repealed.

15         relates to contractor certification

16         requirements for disabled applicants in lieu of

17         passing the written examination for fiscal year

18         2002-2003 only, expired pursuant to its own

19         terms, effective July 1, 2003.

21         Section 16.  Section 553.8412, Florida Statutes, is

22  repealed.

25         provides for legislative intent, training, and

26         related funding in relation to the Florida

27         Building Code, was repealed by its own terms,

30         Section 17.  Subsection (2) of section 1010.78, Florida

31  Statutes, is repealed.
