15 page 6, line 13, delete those lines

17 and insert:
18 Section 1. Section 1006.0625, Florida Statutes, is
19 created to read:
20 1006.0625 Prohibition on requiring certain
21 medication.--
22 (1) Each district school board shall prohibit school
23 district personnel from requiring a student to obtain a
24 prescription for, and take as medication, a controlled
25 substance listed in Schedule II, s. 202(c) of the Controlled
26 Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. s. 812(c), or any psychotropic or
27 similar mind-altering drug as a condition of attending school
28 or receiving educational services provided by the state. This
29 section does not prohibit school district personnel from
30 consulting or sharing classroom-based observations with
31 parents regarding a student's academic performance or behavior

1 in the classroom or school or regarding the need for
2 evaluation for special education or related services provided
3 the evaluation is not psychologically or psychiatrically
