A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to Palm Beach County; amending chapter
32000-467, Laws of Florida, relating to Northern Palm Beach
4County Improvement District; amending the boundaries of
5the district to include additional lands; amending chapter
62001-313, Laws of Florida, relating to South Indian River
7Water Control District, by amending the boundaries of the
8district to delete lands; providing for an effective date.

10Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
11
12     Section 1.  Section 1 of section 3 of chapter 2000-467,
13Laws of Florida, is amended to read:
14     Section 1.  District created and boundaries thereof.--That
15for the purpose of reclaiming and draining the lands hereinafter
16described and for the purpose of water control and water supply
17and protecting said lands from the effects of water by means of
18the construction and maintenance of canals, ditches, levees,
19dikes, pumping plants, and other drainage works and
20improvements, and for the purpose of making the lands within the
21District available and habitable for settlement and agriculture,
22and for the public convenience, welfare, utility, and benefit,
23and for the other purposes stated in this Act, a district is
24hereby created and established in Palm Beach County, Florida, to
25be known as Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District, the
26territorial boundaries of which are as follows:

28(A)  The following lands are included, namely:
29Beginning at the intersection of the west boundary of
30the City of West Palm Beach, Florida with the northern
31boundary of Lake Worth Drainage District; Thence north
32and east along the boundary of the City of West Palm
33Beach to the north-south quarter section line of

36said Section 6 to an intersection with the westerly
