  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to school readiness programs;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to enact

  4         legislation to implement the constitutional

  5         amendment relating to voluntary universal

  6         prekindergarten education; providing an

  7         effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to enact

12  legislation implementing Section 1(b) and (c), Article IX of

13  the State Constitution relating to voluntary universal

14  prekindergarten education and school readiness.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
