| 8 | design, construction, or remodeling of a dwelling, the |
| 9 | contractor, subcontractor, supplier, or design professional |
| 10 | shall provide notice to the owner of the dwelling of the |
| 11 | contractor's, subcontractor's, supplier's, or design |
| 12 | professional's right to offer to cure construction defects or |
| 13 | pay to settle alleged construction defects before a claimant may |
| 14 | commence an action against the contractor, subcontractor, |
| 15 | supplier, or design professional. Such notice must be |
| 16 | conspicuous and may be included as part of the contract. |
