| 5 | Section 5. The Office of Program Policy and Government |
| 6 | Accountability shall develop recommendations for the minimum |
| 7 | system standards for the independent living transition services |
| 8 | system required in s. 409.1451(6), Florida Statutes. These |
| 9 | recommendations shall be developed with advise from the key |
| 10 | stakeholders in the independent living transition service |
| 11 | system, including, but not limited to, independent living |
| 12 | services staff of the Department of Children and Families and |
| 13 | community-based care lead agencies, representatives of the State |
| 14 | Youth Advisory Board, other youth and young adults who are or |
| 15 | have been in the foster care system, foster parents, and |
| 16 | representatives from other state agencies and community service |
| 17 | providers who are involved in serving this population. These |
| 18 | recommendations shall be provided to the department on or before |
| 19 | November 30, 2004. |
