6An act relating to service charges; amending ss. 319.32
7and 320.04, F.S.; increasing certain service charges for
8certificates of title and license plates, certain
9stickers, or registration certificates; providing an
10effective date.

12Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
13
14     Section 1.  Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section
15319.32, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
16     319.32  Fees; service charges; disposition.--
17     (2)(a)  There shall be a service charge of $7 $4.25 for
18each application which is handled in connection with the
19issuance, duplication, or transfer of any certificate of title.
20There shall be a service charge of $1.25 for each application
21which is handled in connection with the recordation or notation
22of a lien on a motor vehicle or mobile home which is not in
23connection with the purchase of such vehicle.
24     Section 2.  Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
25320.04, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
26     320.04  Registration service charge.--
27     (1)(a)  There shall be a service charge of $3 $2.50 for
28each application which is handled in connection with original
29issuance, duplicate issuance, or transfer of any license plate,
30mobile home sticker, or validation sticker or with transfer or
31duplicate issuance of any registration certificate. There may
32also be a service charge of up to $1 for the issuance of each
33license plate validation sticker, vessel decal, and mobile home
34sticker issued from an automated vending facility or printer
35dispenser machine which shall be payable to and retained by the
36department to provide for automated vending facilities or
37printer dispenser machines used to dispense such stickers and
38decals by each tax collector's or license tag agent's employee.
39     Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
