  2         An act relating to the Hillsborough County

  3         School District; repealing chapter 8705 (1921),

  4         Laws of Florida, relating to issuing and

  5         selling interest-bearing time warrants;

  6         repealing chapter 9464 (1923), Laws of Florida,

  7         relating to the procurement of a loan for

  8         $200,000; repealing chapter 12847 (1927), Laws

  9         of Florida, relating to borrowing money for use

10         by public free schools of any special tax

11         school district; repealing chapter 12860

12         (1927), Laws of Florida, relating to exercising

13         the right of eminent domain to acquire certain

14         property; repealing chapter 12862 (1927), Laws

15         of Florida, conferring additional powers to

16         borrow money and sell interest-bearing time

17         warrants; repealing chapter 24570 (1947), Laws

18         of Florida, consolidating all school districts

19         into one; repealing chapter 24575 (1947), Laws

20         of Florida, transferring property from the

21         board of county commissioners to the board of

22         public instruction; repealing chapter 24576

24         pay to noninstructional personnel upon death or

25         retirement; repealing chapter 71-687, Laws of

26         Florida, permitting entering into agreements

27         for group insurance for the benefit of retired

28         employees; repealing chapter 73-489, Laws of

29         Florida, relating to group insurance for

30         retired employees; repealing chapter 80-505,

31         Laws of Florida, relating to the employment of

 2         clause; providing an effective date.

 4  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

 5  

 6         Section 1.  Chapters 8705 (1921), 9464 (1923), 12847

 7  (1927), 12860 (1927), 12862 (1927), 24570 (1947), 24575

 8  (1947), 24576 (1947), 24582 (1947), 27606 (1951), 27611

 9  (1951), 30832 (1955), 59-1351, 59-1366, 63-1405, 67-1501,

10  71-495, 71-676, 71-687, 73-489, and 80-505, Laws of Florida,

11  are repealed.

12         Section 2.  Such repeal shall not affect the

13  prosecution of any cause of action that accrued before the

14  effective date of this act and shall not affect the rules,

15  regulations, policies, actions, decisions, contracts,

16  agreements, obligations, and properties of the Hillsborough

17  County School District or the School Board of Hillsborough

18  County existing prior to the effective date of this act.

19         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

20  law.
