3     Amendment to Amendment (954111) (with directory and title
4amendments)
5Between lines 1223 and 1224 insert:
6     (17)(a)  When a patient signs a form releasing records to
7any health insurance company or attorney, and the patient dies
8within 6 months after signing the release, that release shall be
9deemed valid for up to 1 year after the patient's death.
10     (b)  Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, no
11records owner, health care practitioner, or health care
12practitioner's employer shall be held either criminally or
13civilly liable for releasing any records pursuant to paragraph
14(a).

18     Section 32.  Present subsections (16) through (19) of
19section 456.057, Florida Statutes, are renumbered as subsections
20(18) through (21), respectively, and new subsections (16) and
