13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 38, between lines 27 and 28,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 23.  Subsection (9) of section 199.023, Florida
18  Statutes, is amended to read:
19         199.023  Definitions.--As used in this chapter:
20         (9)  "Banking organization" means:
21         (a)  A bank organized and existing under the laws of
22  any this state;
23         (b)  A national bank organized and existing pursuant to
24  the provisions of the National Bank Act, 12 U.S.C. ss. 21 et
25  seq., and maintaining its principal office in this state;
26         (c)  An Edge Act corporation organized pursuant to the
27  provisions of s. 25(a) of the Federal Reserve Act, 12 U.S.C.
28  ss. 611 et seq., and maintaining an office in this state;
29         (d)  An international bank agency licensed pursuant to
30  the laws of any this state;
31         (e)  A federal agency licensed pursuant to ss. 4 and 5

 1  of the International Banking Act of 1978 to maintain an office
 2  in this state;
 3         (f)  A savings association organized and existing under
 4  the laws of any this state;
 5         (g)  A federal association organized and existing
 6  pursuant to the provisions of the Home Owners' Loan Act of
 7  1933, 12 U.S.C. ss. 1461 et seq., and maintaining its
 8  principal office in this state; or
 9         (h)  A Florida export finance corporation organized and
10  existing pursuant to the provisions of part V of chapter 288.
