11  Senators Posey, Alexander, Atwater and Clary moved the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 22, lines 4 through 15, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  (1)  The sum of $10 million is appropriated from
18  the Workers' Compensation Administration Trust Fund in the
19  Department of Financial Services for transfer to the workers'
20  compensation joint underwriting plan provided in section
21  627.311(5), Florida Statutes, as a capital contribution to
22  fund any deficit in the plan. The Chief Financial Officer
23  shall transfer the funds to the plan no later than July 31,
24  2004.
25         (2)  The workers' compensation joint underwriting plan
26  set forth in section 627.311(5), Florida Statutes, may request
27  the Department of Financial Services to transfer an amount not
28  to exceed $25 million from the Workers' Compensation
