  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to radiologists performing

  3         mammograms; providing licensed radiologists

  4         with immunity from tort liability under certain

  5         circumstances; providing exceptions; providing

  6         for future repeal unless reviewed and reenacted

  7         by the Legislature; providing an effective

  8         date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  A radiologist licensed in this state is

13  immune from liability in tort for any actions arising from the

14  performance of his or her duties relating to mammograms,

15  except for instances in which the radiologist is found to be

16  grossly negligent. This section is repealed July 1, 2006,

17  unless reviewed and reenacted by the Legislature.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.
