18 Section 42. Notwithstanding any other law or local
19 ordinance to the contrary and to ensure uniform health and
20 safety standards, the regulation, identification, and
21 packaging of meat, poultry, and fish is preempted to the state
22 and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
