14 On page 63, between lines 10 and 11,

16 insert:
17 Section 41. Present subsection (2) of section 381.005,
18 Florida Statutes, is redesignated as subsection (3), and a new
19 subsection (2) is added to that section, to read:
20 381.005 Primary and preventive health services.--
21 (2) Between October 1, or earlier if the vaccination
22 is available, and February 1 of each year, subject to the
23 availability of an adequate supply of the necessary vaccine,
24 each hospital licensed pursuant to chapter 395 shall implement
25 a program to offer immunizations against the influenza virus
26 and pneumococcal bacteria to all patients age 65 or older, in
27 accordance with the recommendations of the Advisory Committee
28 on Immunization Practices of the United States Centers for
29 Disease Control and Prevention and subject to the clinical
30 judgment of the responsible practitioner.
