14 On page 31, between lines 9 and 10,

16 insert:
17 Section 3. No later than December 31, 2005, each
18 insurer writing a covered policy as defined in section
19 215.555(2)(c), Florida Statutes, shall submit to the Office of
20 Insurance Regulation a rate filing for the line of insurance
21 insuring a covered policy under this section reflecting the
22 overall rate reduction or increase due to the provisions of
23 this act. Such rate reduction or increase applies
24 retroactively to policies issued or renewed on or after the
25 effective date of this act.
