11 Senator Peaden moved the following amendment:

13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 124, between lines 11 and 12,

16 insert:
17 Section 41. Paragraph (e) of subsection (5) of section
18 766.315, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 766.315 Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury
20 Compensation Association; board of directors.--
21 (5)
22 (e) Funds held on behalf of the plan are funds of the
23 State of Florida. The association may only invest plan funds
24 in the investments and securities described in s. 215.47, and
25 shall be subject to the limitations on investments contained
26 in that section. All income derived from such investments will
27 be credited to the plan. The State Board of Administration may
28 invest and reinvest funds held on behalf of the plan in
29 accordance with the trust agreement approved by the
30 association and the State Board of Administration and within
31 the provisions of ss. 215.44-215.53.
