11  The Committee on Transportation recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 7, line 1, delete that line
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (4)  If an expansion of the project into Charlotte
19  County is warranted and desirable as indicated by the adoption
20  of resolutions in support of the expansion by the authority
21  and by each Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte,
22  Collier, and Lee Counties, the membership of the authority
23  shall be expanded as set forth in this subsection. The
24  authority shall have nine voting members and two nonvoting
25  members. The executive director of the Southwest Florida
26  Regional Planning Council will shift from a voting member to a
27  nonvoting member. Three members from Charlotte County shall be
28  added to the authority and each shall be a voting member. The
29  Charlotte County members shall be selected in the same manner
30  as provided for the appointment of the members from Collier
31  and Lee Counties.
