  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to highway designations;

  3         designating the St. Johns River Bridge on I-4

  4         at the Seminole/Volusia County line as the "St.

  5         Johns River Veterans Memorial Bridge";

  6         directing the Department of Transportation to

  7         erect suitable markers; providing an effective

  8         date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  St. Johns River Veterans Memorial Bridge

13  designated; department to erect suitable markers.--

14         (1)  The St. Johns River Bridge on I-4 at the

15  Seminole/Volusia County line is designated as the "St. Johns

16  River Veterans Memorial Bridge."

17         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

18  erect suitable markers designating the St. Johns River

19  Veterans Memorial Bridge as described in subsection (1).

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.

23                          SENATE SUMMARY
