  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to intergovernmental programs;

  3         repealing s. 163.01, F.S., the "Florida

  4         Interlocal Cooperation Act of 1969"; providing

  5         an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8  

  9         Section 1.  Section 163.01, Florida Statutes, is

10  repealed.

11         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2004.

14                          SENATE SUMMARY

15    Repeals the Florida Interlocal Cooperation Act of 1969,
      which provides for interlocal agreements and joint
16    exercises of power among units of local government.
