1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to the Florida State Fair Authority;
3	creating s. 616.2575, F.S.; authorizing the authority to
4	issue up to $10 million in revenue bonds; prescribing
5	projects for which bond proceeds may be used; providing
6	for payment of debt service on such bonds; providing an
7	effective date.

9	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11	Section 1. Section 616.2575, Florida Statutes, is created
12	to read:
13	616.2575 Bonds; issuance authorized; purpose.--Pursuant to
14	s. 11, Art. VII of the State Constitution, the Florida State
15	Fair Authority is authorized to issue, pursuant to s. 616.257,
16	revenue bonds in an amount of not more than $10 million for the
17	purposes of: acquiring 2 parcels of real property consisting of
18	approximately 36 acres adjacent to the existing Florida State
19	Fairgrounds in Hillsborough County; constructing an operations
20	building, a campground addition, entry gates, a storage
21	building, or all such improvements; performing paving and other
22	site work; constructing an addition to the administrative
23	building; performing land improvements; acquiring other real
24	property as may be available; and performing or constructing
25	other replacements and renovations. The authority shall pay the
26	debt service on such bonds as provided in s. 616.258 from rates,
27	fees, rentals, tolls, and other charges for the use of such
28	projects or for the services or facilities furnished thereby and
29	from other special funds pledged therefor.
30	Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
