1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to a review under the Open
3 Government Sunset Review Act; amending s.
4 395.3035, F.S., relating to a public-meetings
5 exemption for certain portions of a hospital
6 board meeting; saving the exemption from repeal
7 under the Open Government Sunset Review Act;
8 deleting provisions that provide for the repeal
9 of the exemption; providing an effective date.

11 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (4) of section
14 395.3035, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
15 395.3035 Confidentiality of hospital records and
16 meetings.--
17 (4)(a) Those portions of a board meeting at which one
18 or more written strategic plans that are confidential pursuant
19 to subsection (2) are discussed, reported on, modified, or
20 approved by the governing board are exempt from the provisions
21 of s. 286.011 and s. 24(b), Art. I of the State Constitution.
22 This paragraph is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review
23 Act of 1995 in accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand
24 repealed on October 2, 2004, unless reviewed and saved from
25 repeal through reenactment by the Legislature.
26 Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2004.
