2	An act relating to the Orlando-Orange County Expressway
3	Authority Law; amending s. 348.754, F.S.; requiring
4	approval of a project route by Orange County prior to
5	acquisition of right-of-way by the authority when the
6	route is in the county but not within the boundaries of
7	any municipality; providing an effective date.

9	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11	Section 1. Subsection (4) of section 348.754, Florida
12	Statutes, is amended to read:
13	348.754 Purposes and powers.--
14	(4)(a) Notwithstanding any other provision Anythingin
15	this part to the contrary notwithstanding, acquisition of right-
16	of-way for a project of the authority which is within the
17	boundaries of any municipality in Orange County shall not begin
18	be begununless and until the route of said project within said
19	municipality has been given prior approval by the governing body
20	of said municipality.
21	(b) Notwithstanding any other provision in this part to
22	the contrary, acquisition of right-of-way for a project of the
23	authority shall not begin unless and until the route of said
24	project within Orange County and not within the boundaries of
25	any municipality in the county has been given prior approval by
26	the governing body of the county.
27	Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
