14 On page 5, between lines 7 and 8,

16 insert:
17 Section 8. Subsection (3) of section 501.207, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 501.207 Remedies of enforcing authority.--
20 (3) Upon motion of the enforcing authority or any
21 interested party in any action brought under subsection (1),
22 the court may make appropriate orders, including, but not
23 limited to, appointment of a master or receiver or
24 sequestration or freezing of assets, to reimburse consumers or
25 governmental entities found to have been damaged; to carry out
26 a transaction in accordance with consumers' the reasonable
27 expectations of consumers or governmental entities; to strike
28 or limit the application of clauses of contracts to avoid an
29 unconscionable result; to bring actions in the name of and on
30 behalf of the enterprise; to order any defendant to divest
31 herself or himself of any interest in any enterprise,

1 including real estate; to impose reasonable restrictions upon
2 the future activities of any defendant to impede her or him
3 from engaging in or establishing the same type of endeavor; to
4 order the dissolution or reorganization of any enterprise; or
5 to grant legal, equitable, or other appropriate relief. The
6 court may assess the expenses of a master or receiver against
7 a person who has violated, is violating, or is otherwise
8 likely to violate this part. Any injunctive order, whether
9 temporary or permanent, issued by the court shall be effective
10 throughout the state unless otherwise provided in the order.

17 On page 1, line 25, after the second semicolon,

19 and insert:
20 amending s. 501.207, F.S., relating to remedies
21 of the enforcing authority under the Florida
22 Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act;
23 deleting governmental entities from those
24 entitled to court-ordered reimbursement and
25 other remedies under that act; providing that
26 the court may order actions brought under that
27 act on behalf of an enterprise;
