  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to specialty license plates;

  3         repealing ss. 320.08053, 320.08056, 320.08058,

  4         and 320.08062, F.S., relating to specialty

  5         license plates; providing that current

  6         specialty plates shall remain valid until their

  7         next renewal date; providing an effective date.

  8  

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  Sections 320.08053, 320.08056, 320.08058,

12  and 320.08062, Florida Statutes, relating to specialty license

13  plates, are repealed.

14         Section 2.  A specialty license plate that is valid on

15  July 1, 2004, shall remain valid until the date of its next

16  regularly scheduled renewal, at which time the specialty plate

17  must be exchanged for a standard plate.

18         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
