11  Senator Constantine moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 39, between lines 15 and 16,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 18.  Notwithstanding section 553.73, Florida
18  Statutes, the Florida Building Commission is directed to
19  review the exclusion of enclosed area under a mezzanine from
20  total floor area used to determine allowable mezzanine size in
21  a building classified as an "S" occupancy which has been
22  protected by fire sprinklers. Unless the commission identifies
23  substantive lifesafety concerns pertaining to the provision,
24  the commission is authorized to immediately commence
25  rulemaking to remove the exclusion as it applies to "S"
26  occupancy buildings protected by fire sprinklers.

10         the provision, to immediately adopt rules
11         removing it;
