13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 5, lines 26 - 30, and
15            page 15, lines 10 - 14, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (g)  "Direct supervision" means the on-site, personal
19  supervision by an anesthesiologist who is present in the
20  office when the procedure is being performed in that office,
21  or is present in the surgical or obstetrical suite when the
22  procedure is being performed in that surgical or obstetrical
23  suite and who is in all instances immediately available to
24  provide assistance and direction to the anesthesiologist
25  assistant while anesthesia services are being performed.
