13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 5, lines 26 - 30, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         (g)  "Direct supervision" means the on-site, personal
18  supervision by an anesthesiologist who is present in the
19  office when the procedure is being performed in that office,
20  or is present in the surgical or obstetrical suite when the
21  procedure is being performed in that surgical or obstetrical
22  suite and who is in all instances immediately available to
23  provide assistance and direction to the anesthesiologist
24  assistant while anesthesia services are being performed.
