  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to bridge designations;

  3         designating the bridge located on I-75 at the

  4         Lake Panasoffkee area exit in Sumter County as

  5         "Florida Veterans Memorial Bridge"; directing

  6         the Department of Transportation to erect

  7         suitable markers; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  Florida Veterans Memorial Bridge

12  designated; department to erect suitable markers.--

13         (1)  The bridge on I-75 at the Lake Panasoffkee area

14  exit in Sumter County is designated as "Florida Veterans

15  Memorial Bridge."

16         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

17  erect suitable markers designating Florida Veterans Memorial

18  Bridge as described in subsection (1).

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
