  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to road and bridge

  3         designations; designating the bridge located on

  4         I-75 at the Lake Panasoffkee area exit in

  5         Sumter County as "Florida Veterans Memorial

  6         Bridge"; directing the Department of

  7         Transportation to erect suitable markers;

  8         extending the Florida Arts Trail through

  9         Jefferson and Madison Counties; designating the

10         Arthor L. Andrews Bridge in Wakulla County;

11         providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14  

15         Section 1.  Florida Veterans Memorial Bridge

16  designated; department to erect suitable markers.--

17         (1)  The bridge on I-75 at the Lake Panasoffkee area

18  exit in Sumter County is designated as "Florida Veterans

19  Memorial Bridge."

20         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

21  erect suitable markers designating Florida Veterans Memorial

22  Bridge as described in subsection (1).

23         Section 2.  Extension of the Florida Arts Trail;

24  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

25         (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 90 between the City

26  of Monticello in Jefferson County and the border at Suwannee

27  County in Madison County is designated as part of the "Florida

28  Arts Trail."

29         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

30  erect suitable markers designating the Florida Arts Trail as

31  described in subsection (1).

 1         Section 3.  Arthor L. Andrews Bridge designated in

 2  honor of Wakulla County veterans; Department of Transportation

 3  to erect suitable markers.--

 4         (1)  The Buckhorn Creek Bridge on State Road 375 in

 5  Wakulla County is designated as the "Arthor L. Andrews Bridge"

 6  in honor of Wakulla County veterans.

 7         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

 8  erect suitable markers designating the Arthor L. Andrews

 9  Bridge as described in subsection (1) with the words "In Honor

10  of Wakulla County Veterans" inscribed below the name.

11         Section 4.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.

                       COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

16  The CS designates a  portion of U.S. Highway 90 between the
    City of Monticello in Jefferson County and the border at
17  Suwannee County in Madison County as part of the Florida Arts
    Trail.

    The CS also designates the Buckhorn Creek Bridge on State Road
19  375 in Wakulla County as the Arthor L. Andrews Bridge in honor
    of Wakulla County veterans.
