11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 26, between lines 25 and 26,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 8.  The sum of $1,923,525 is appropriated from
18  the General Revenue Fund and 62 full-time equivalent positions
19  are authorized for the Justice Administrative Commission. From
20  these funds, the sum of $1,090,058 and 34 full-time equivalent
21  positions shall be provided to the public defenders and the
22  sum of $833,467 and 28 full-time equivalent positions shall be
23  provided to the state attorneys for the purpose of
24  implementing this act during the first 6 months of the
25  2004-2005 fiscal year. The sum of $65,000 is appropriated from
26  the General Revenue Fund to the Agency for Health Care
27  Administration for the purpose of implementing this act during
28  the 2004-2005 fiscal year.
