  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the designation of

  3         university buildings; designating the FAMU-FSU

  4         College of Engineering Building as the "Herbert

  5         F. Morgan Building"; designating the student

  6         life center at Florida State University as the

  7         "Reubin O'D. Askew Student Life Center";

  8         designating the university residence hall at

  9         Florida State University as "Sherrill Williams

10         Ragans Hall"; providing for the erection of

11         markers; providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14  

15         Section 1.  (1)  The Florida Agricultural and

16  Mechanical University-Florida State University College of

17  Engineering Building in Tallahassee is designated as the

18  "Herbert F. Morgan Building."

19         (2)  The Student Life Building at Florida State

20  University, located at 113 South Wildwood Drive, is designated

21  as the "Reubin O'D. Askew Student Life Center."

22         (3)  The new residence hall complex at Florida State

23  University, located at 921 College Avenue, is designated as

24  the "Sherrill Williams Ragans Hall."

25         (4)  Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and

26  Florida State University, respectively, are authorized to

27  erect markers for the designation of the Herbert F. Morgan

28  Building as described in subsection (1), the Reubin O'D. Askew

29  Building as described in subsection (2), and the Sherrill

30  Williams Ragans Hall as described in subsection (3).

 1         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

 2  law.

 7  The Committee Substitute adds two building namings at Florida
