71Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

73     Section 1.  Browning-Pearce Memorial Highway designated;
74department to erect suitable markers.--
75     (1)  That portion of State Road 207 between Interstate
76Highway 95 in St. Johns County and the intersection with U.S.
77Highway 17 in Putnam County is designated as "Browning-Pearce
78Memorial Highway."
79     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
80suitable markers designating Browning-Pearce Memorial Highway as
81described in subsection (1).
82     Section 2.  Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway designated;
83department to erect suitable markers.--
84     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 17 in Putnam County from
85Crescent City south to the border at Volusia County is
86designated as "Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway."
87     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
88suitable markers designating Jerome A. Williams Memorial Highway
89as described in subsection (1).
90     Section 3.  James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard designated;
91department to erect suitable markers.--
92     (1)  That portion of State Road 16 in Clay County within
93the town limits of the Town of Penney Farms is designated as
94"James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard."
95     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
96suitable markers designating James C. Penney Memorial Boulevard
97as described in subsection (1).
98     Section 4.  C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge designated;
99department to erect suitable markers.--
100     (1)  The C. Fred Arrington Bridge located on U.S. Highway
10127 between Tallahassee and Havana and crossing the Ochlockonee
102River is designated as "C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge."
103     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
104suitable markers designating C. Fred and Marvin Arrington Bridge
105as described in subsection (1).
106     Section 5.  Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway designated;
107department to erect suitable markers.--
108     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 192 from Interstate
109Highway 95 in Brevard County to St. Cloud in Osceola County is
110designated as "Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway."
111     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
112suitable markers designating Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway as
113described in subsection (1).
114     Section 6.  St. Johns River Veterans Memorial Bridge
115designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
116     (1)  The St. Johns River Bridge on I-4 at the
117Seminole/Volusia County line is designated as the "St. Johns
118River Veterans Memorial Bridge."
119     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
120suitable markers designating the St. Johns River Veterans
121Memorial Bridge as described in subsection (1).
122     Section 7.  Ed Fraser Memorial Highway designated;
123department to erect suitable markers.--
124     (1)  State Road 121, from the Georgia-Florida line in Baker
125County to the city limits of Lake Butler in Union County is
126designated as the "Ed Fraser Memorial Highway."
127     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
128suitable markers designating the Ed Fraser Memorial Highway as
129described in subsection (1).
130     Section 8.  Trooper Charles W. Parks Memorial Highway
131designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
132     (1)  That portion of Interstate 95 in Nassau County is
133designated as the "Trooper Charles W. Parks Memorial Highway."
134     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
135suitable markers designating Trooper Charles W. Parks Memorial
136Highway as described in subsection (1).
137     Section 9.  Deputy Renee Danell Azure Memorial Highway
138designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
139     (1)  State Road 121, from the Union County line to the city
140limits of the City of Lake Butler, is designated as the "Deputy
141Renee Danell Azure Memorial Highway."
142     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
143suitable markers designating the Deputy Renee Danell Azure
144Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
145     Section 10.  Robert Guevara Memorial Highway designated;
146department to erect suitable markers.--
147     (1)  The portion of U.S. Highway 17/92/441 (Orange Blossom
148Trail) in Osceola County from U.S. Highway 192 to the Orange
149County line is designated "Robert Guevara Memorial Highway."
150     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
151suitable markers designating the Robert Guevara Memorial Highway
152as described in subsection (1).
153     Section 11.  William H. Turner Memorial Boulevard
154designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
155     (1)  That portion of N.W. 103rd Street from N.W. 3rd Avenue
156to N.W. 32nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as
157"William H. Turner Memorial Boulevard."
158     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
159suitable markers designating William H. Turner Memorial
160Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
161     Section 12.  Clifford C. Sims Parkway designated;
162department to erect suitable markers.--
163     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 98 in Gulf County, from
164the Tapper Bridge to the First United Methodist Church at 1001
165Constitution Drive in the City of Port St. Joe is designated as
166the "Clifford C. Sims Parkway."
167     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
168suitable markers designating Clifford C. Sims Parkway as
169described in subsection (1).
170     Section 13.  Florida Veterans Memorial Bridge designated;
171department to erect suitable markers.--
172     (1)  The bridge on I-75 at the Lake Panasoffkee area exit
173in Sumter County is designated as "Florida Veterans Memorial
174Bridge."
175     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
176suitable markers designating Florida Veterans Memorial Bridge as
177described in subsection (1).
178     Section 14.  Extension of the Florida Arts Trail;
179Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
180     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 90 between the City of
181Monticello in Jefferson County and the border at Suwannee County
182in Madison County is designated as part of the "Florida Arts
183Trail."
184     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
185suitable markers designating the Florida Arts Trail as described
186in subsection (1).
187     Section 15.  Arthur L. Andrews Bridge designated in honor
188of Wakulla County veterans; Department of Transportation to
189erect suitable markers.--
190     (1)  The Buckhorn Creek Bridge on State Road 375 in Wakulla
191County is designated as the "Arthur L. Andrews Bridge" in honor
192of Wakulla County veterans.
193     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
194suitable markers designating the Arthur L. Andrews Bridge as
195described in subsection (1) with the words "In Honor of Wakulla
196County Veterans" inscribed below the name.
197     Section 16.  L. E. Buie Memorial Bridge designated;
198department to erect suitable markers.--
199     (1)  The Skypass Bridge (bridge number 930470) in the City
200of Riviera Beach in Palm Beach County is designated as "L. E.
201Buie Memorial Bridge."
202     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
203suitable markers designating the L. E. Buie Memorial Bridge as
204described in subsection (1).
205     Section 17.  Forest Ranger Edward O. Peters Memorial
206Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect
207suitable markers.--
208     (1)  That portion of State Road 24 between County Road 345
209and U.S. Highway 19 in Levy County is designated as "Forest
210Ranger Edward O. Peters Memorial Highway."
211     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
212suitable markers designating Forest Ranger Edward O. Peters
213Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
214     Section 18.  Dr. T. Stewart Greer Avenue designated;
215Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
216     (1)  That portion of N.W. 27th Avenue in Miami-Dade County,
217from N.W. 119th Street to N.W. 135th Street is designated as
218"Dr. T. Stewart Greer Avenue."
219     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
220suitable markers designating Dr. T. Stewart Greer Avenue as
221described in subsection (1).
222     Section 19.  Andrew J. Aviles Trail designated; Department
223of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
224     (1)  That portion of the Old Gandy Access Road number 10-
225130-000 between Gandy Boulevard and the Friendship Trail Bridge,
226Department of Transportation number 10-130-001, in Hillsborough
227County is designated as "Andrew J. Aviles Trail."
228     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
229suitable markers designating Andrew J. Aviles Trail as described
230in subsection (1).
231     Section 20.  Private Robert M. McTureous, Jr., U.S.M.C.,
232Medal of Honor Memorial Highway designated; Department of
233Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
234     (1)  That portion of State Road 19 in Lake County from the
235north end of Lake County to the intersection of State Road 19
236and U.S. Highway 441 in Eustis is designated as "Private Robert
237M. McTureous, Jr., U.S.M.C., Medal of Honor Memorial Highway."
238     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
239suitable markers designating Private Robert M. McTureous, Jr.,
240U.S.M.C., Medal of Honor Memorial Highway as described in
241subsection (1).
242     Section 21.  Deputy Charles "Chuck" Sease Memorial
243Interchange designated; Department of Transportation to erect
244suitable markers.--
245     (1)  The interchange of Interstate Highway 95 and State
246Road 100 at exit number 284 in Flagler County is designated as
247"Deputy Charles 'Chuck' Sease Memorial Interchange."
248     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
249suitable markers designating Deputy Charles "Chuck" Sease
250Memorial Interchange as described in subsection (1).
251     Section 22.  Cpl. Larry E. Smedley Medal of Honor Highway
252designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
253markers.--
254     (1)  That portion of Interstate 4 from State Road 436 to
255State Road 50 is designated as "Larry E. Smedley Medal of Honor
256Highway."
257     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
258suitable markers designating Larry E. Smedley Medal of Honor
259Highway as described in subsection (1).
260     Section 23.  James H. Pruitt Memorial Bridge designated;
261Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
262     (1)  The bridge over the Sebastian Inlet, bridge number
263880005, located on State Road A1A between Brevard County and
264Indian River County is designated as the "James H. Pruitt
265Memorial Bridge."
266     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
267suitable markers designating the James H. Pruitt Memorial Bridge
268as described in subsection (1).
269     Section 24.  Veterans Memorial Interchange designated;
270Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
271     (1)  The interchange of State Road 50, State Road 429, and
272the Florida Turnpike in Orange County is designated as "Veterans
273Memorial Interchange."
274     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
275suitable markers designating Veterans Memorial Interchange as
276described in subsection (1).
277     Section 25.  St. Petersburg/William C. Cramer Parkway
278designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
279markers.--
280     (1)  Contingent on the passage of a resolution by the
281affected parties, that part of Interstate 275 in Pinellas County
282which extends from the Howard Frankland Bridge to the Skyway
283Bridge is designated as "St. Petersburg/William C. Cramer
284Parkway."
285     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
286suitable markers designating St. Petersburg/William C. Cramer
287Parkway as described in subsection (1).
288      Section 26.  President Ronald Reagan Parkway designated;
289Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
290     (1)  The access road connecting the Johnnie B. Byrd, Sr.,
291Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute to Bruce B. Downs
292Boulevard in Hillsborough County is designated as "President
293Ronald Reagan Parkway."
294     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
295suitable markers designating President Ronald Reagan Parkway as
296described in subsection (1).
297     Section 27.  Robert "Bullet Bob" Hayes Avenue designated;
298department to erect suitable markers.--
299     (1)  That portion of Edgewood Avenue W. in Jacksonville
300from U.S. 1, East to where Edgewood Avenue W. becomes Tallulah
301is designated as "Robert 'Bullet Bob' Hayes Avenue."
302     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
303suitable markers designating Robert "Bullet Bob" Hayes Avenue as
304described in subsection (1).
305     Section 28.  Dan Jones Avenue designated; department to
306erect suitable markers.--
307     (1)  That portion of Dunn Avenue in Jacksonville between I-
308295 West and I-95 North is designated as "Dan Jones Avenue."
309     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
310suitable markers designating Dan Jones Avenue as described in
311subsection (1).
312     Section 29.  Clyde Hart Highway designated; department to
313erect suitable markers.--
314     (1)  That portion of State Road 44 which lies between
315Deland and State Road 415 in Volusia County is designated as
316"Clyde Hart Highway."
317     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
318suitable markers designating Clyde Hart Highway as described in
319subsection (1).
320     Section 30.  Charles E. Bennett Memorial Bridge designated;
321department to erect suitable markers.--
322     (1)  Upon designation as part of the State Highway System,
323the Intracoastal Waterway bridge portion of the Wonderwood
324Connector on Wonderwood Road between Girvin Road and State Route
325A1A in Duval County is designated as the "Charles E. Bennett
326Memorial Bridge."
327     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
328suitable markers designating the Charles E. Bennett Memorial
329Bridge as described in subsection (1).
330     Section 31.  Circus Bridge designated; department to erect
331suitable markers.--
332     (1)  Bridge number 170167, the Intracoastal Waterway bridge
333replacing bridge number 170036 on Business U.S. Highway 41 in
334Sarasota County, is designated as "Circus Bridge."
335     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
336suitable markers designating Circus Bridge as described in
337subsection (1).
338     Section 32.  Emerald Coast Parkway named.--
339     (1)  U.S. Highway 98, in the City of Destin, from Gulf
340Shore Drive to 2378 Scenic Highway 98, is renamed "Emerald Coast
341Parkway."
342     (2)  The City of Destin is directed to erect suitable
343markers identifying Emerald Coast Parkway as described in
344subsection (1).
345     Section 33.  Harbor Boulevard named.--
346     (1)  U.S. Highway 98, in the City of Destin, from the East
347end of Marler Bridge to Gulf Shore Drive, is renamed "Harbor
348Boulevard."
349     (2)  The City of Destin is directed to erect suitable
350markers identifying Harbor Boulevard as described in subsection
351(1).
352     Section 34.  Alexandre Petion Boulevard designation;
353Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
354     (1)  State Road 909 on West Dixie Highway in Miami-Dade
355County, from the north boundary of State House District 108 to
356N.E. 2nd Avenue, is designated as "Alexandre Petion Boulevard."
357     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
358suitable markers designating Alexandre Petion Boulevard as
359described in subsection (1).
360     Section 35.  Frederick Douglass Boulevard designated;
361Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
362     (1)  State Road 915 on N.E. 6th Avenue in Miami-Dade
363County, from the north boundary of State House District 108 to
364U.S. 1, is designated as "Frederick Douglass Boulevard."
365     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
366suitable markers designating Frederick Douglass Boulevard as
367described in subsection (1).
368     Section 36.  George Gill Boulevard designated; Department
369of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
370     (1)  State Road 5 on Biscayne Boulevard (U.S. 1) in Miami-
371Dade County, from the north boundary of State House District 108
372to the south boundary of the District, is designated as "George
373Gill Boulevard."
374     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
375suitable markers designating George Gill Boulevard as described
376in subsection (1).
377     Section 37.  James Weldon Johnson Boulevard designated;
378Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
379     (1)  State Road 932 on N.W. 103rd Street in Miami-Dade
380County, from the west boundary of State House District 108 to
381N.E. 6th Avenue, is designated as "James Weldon Johnson
382Boulevard."
383     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
384suitable markers designating James Weldon Johnson Boulevard as
385described in subsection (1).
386     Section 38.  Jean-Jacques Dessalines Boulevard designated;
387Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
388     (1)  State Road 922 on N.W. 125th Street in Miami-Dade
389County, from N.W. 7th Avenue to Griffing Boulevard, is
390designated as "Jean-Jacques Dessalines Boulevard."
391     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
392suitable markers designating Jean-Jacques Dessalines Boulevard
393as described in subsection (1).
394     Section 39.  Judge Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Boulevard
395designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
396markers.--
397     (1)  That portion of Honey Hill Drive in Miami-Dade County,
398from N.W. 27th Avenue to N.W. 47th Avenue is designated as
399"Judge Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Boulevard."
400     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
401suitable markers designating Judge Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr.
402Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
403     Section 40.  Sidney Alterman Way designated; Department of
404Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
405     (1)  That portion of N.W. 42nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County,
406from N.W. 119th Street to N.W. 135th Street is designated as
407"Sidney Alterman Way."
408     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
409suitable markers designating Sidney Alterman Way as described in
410subsection (1).
411     Section 41.  Kermit Sigmon Trail designated; department to
412erect suitable markers.--
413     (1)  The portion of the State Road 24 Trail in Gainesville
414from Newell Drive to Southwest 16th Avenue is designated "Kermit
415Sigmon Trail."
416     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
417suitable markers designating the Kermit Sigmon Trail as
418described in subsection (1).
419     Section 42.  Veterans Memorial Highway designated;
420department to erect suitable markers.--
421     (1)  U.S. Highway 331 in Walton County, from U.S. Highway
42290 to the southern boundary of the City of DeFuniak Springs, is
423designated as "Veterans Memorial Boulevard."
424     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
425suitable markers designating the Veterans Memorial Boulevard as
426described in subsection (1).
427     Section 43.  Captain Charles "Bo" Harrison Memorial Highway
428designated; department to erect suitable markers.--
429     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 301 in Pasco County,
430northbound and southbound, is designated as "Captain Charles
431'Bo' Harrison Memorial Highway."
432     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
433suitable markers designating Captain Charles "Bo" Harrison
434Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
435     Section 44.  Gale Lemerand Drive designated; University of
436Florida to erect suitable markers.--
437     (1)  The North-South Drive on the University of Florida
438campus is redesignated as "Gale Lemerand Drive."
439     (2)  The University of Florida is directed to erect
440suitable markers designating Gale Lemerand Drive as described in
441subsection (1).
442     Section 45.  Jerry Underwood Memorial Highway designated;
443markers.--
444     (1)  U.S. 1, between 296th Avenue SW and 304 Street in
445Miami-Dade County, is designated as the "Jerry Underwood
446Memorial Highway."
447     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
448suitable markers designating the Jerry Underwood Memorial
449Highway as described in subsection (1).
450     Section 46.  Cesar Calas Way designation; markers.--
451     (1)  8th Street between SW 57th Avenue and SW 62th Avenue
452in Miami-Dade County is hereby designated "Cesar Calas Memorial
453Highway."
454     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
455suitable markers designating Cesar Calas Way as described in
456subsection (1).
457     Section 47.  Bill Seidle Boulevard designated; markers.--
458     (1)  That portion of N.W. 36th Street between N.W. 27th
459Avenue and N.W. 39th Avenue is Miami-Dade County is designated
460"Bill Seidle Boulevard."
461     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
462suitable markers designating the Bill Seidle Boulevard.
463     Section 48.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a
464law.
