8	Collier County; amending chapter 2001-298, Laws of
9	Florida; authorizing board members to receive benefits;
10	conforming district boundaries to current boundaries;
11	adding new boundaries; providing effective dates.

13	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
14
15	Section 1.  Subsections (f) and (o) of section 1 of section
16	3 of chapter 2001-298, Laws of Florida, are amended to read:
17	Section 1.  Minimum charter requirements.--In accordance
18	with section 189.404(3), Florida Statutes, the following
19	subsections shall comprise the minimum required charter
20	provisions for Collier Mosquito Control District:
21	(f)  Board members may be paid a salary in accordance with
22	this act and chapter 388, Florida Statutes, as they may be
23	amended from time to time. Notwithstanding section 388.141(1),
24	Florida Statutes, board members may also receive benefits, such
25	as medical insurance or accidental death and dismemberment
26	insurance, in addition to the maximum salary allowed under
27	general law. Each additional benefit will be granted by
28	unanimous resolution of the District with all members present.
29	(o)  The District's geographic boundary limitations shall
30	be as follows and may be amended pursuant to section 388.211,
31	Florida Statutes, as amended from time to time:

33	Beginning where the north line to Township 48S Range
34	25E extended westerly intersects the western boundary
35	of the State of Florida in the waters of the Gulf of
36	Mexico; thence easterly along said Township line to
