4relating to issuing and selling interest-bearing time
5warrants; repealing chapter 9464 (1923), Laws of Florida,
6relating to the procurement of a loan for $200,000;
7repealing chapter 12847 (1927), Laws of Florida, relating
8to borrowing money for use by public free schools of any
9special tax school district; repealing chapter 12860
10(1927), Laws of Florida, relating to exercising the right
11of eminent domain to acquire certain property; repealing
12chapter 12862 (1927), Laws of Florida, conferring
13additional powers to borrow money and sell interest-
14bearing time warrants; repealing chapter 24570 (1947),
15Laws of Florida, consolidating all school districts into
16one; repealing chapter 24575 (1947), Laws of Florida,
17transferring property from the board of county
18commissioners to the board of public instruction;
19repealing chapter 24576 (1947), Laws of Florida,
20authorizing the board of county commissioners to acquire
21land from the board of public instruction; repealing
22chapter 24582 (1947), Laws of Florida, relating to the
23selection of school trustees for each public school;

25certain land between the board of county commissioners and
26the board of public instruction; repealing chapter 27611
27(1951), Laws of Florida, disbursing capital outlay to the
28credit of the Gillette Special Tax School District;
29repealing chapter 30832 (1955), Laws of Florida, creating
30school crossing zones in unincorporated Hillsborough
31County; repealing chapter 59-1351, Laws of Florida,
32relating to the leasing of certain lands for recreational,
33park, or similar purposes; repealing chapter 59-1366, Laws
34of Florida, validating the conveyance of certain lands
35from the trustees of Special Tax School District No. 1 to
36the board of public instruction; repealing chapter 63-
371405, Laws of Florida, relating to the conveyance of
38certain lands between the board of public instruction and
39municipalities in Hillsborough County; repealing chapter
4067-1501, Laws of Florida, providing for an internal
41auditing department and internal auditor; repealing
42chapter 71-495, Laws of Florida, allowing the district
43school board to expend moneys for per diem and travel
44expenses; repealing chapter 71-676, Laws of Florida,
45providing for the payment of terminal pay to
46noninstructional personnel upon death or retirement;
47repealing chapter 71-687, Laws of Florida, permitting
48entering into agreements for group insurance for the
49benefit of retired employees; repealing chapter 73-489,
50Laws of Florida, relating to group insurance for retired
51employees; repealing chapter 80-505, Laws of Florida,
52relating to the employment of an internal auditor;
53providing a savings clause; providing an effective date.

55Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

57     Section 1.  Chapters 8705 (1921), 9464 (1923), 12847
58(1927), 12860 (1927), 12862 (1927), 24570 (1947), 24575 (1947),
5924576 (1947), 24582 (1947), 27606 (1951), 27611 (1951), 30832
60(1955), 59-1351, 59-1366, 63-1405, 67-1501, 71-495, 71-676, 71-
61687, 73-489, and 80-505, Laws of Florida, are repealed.
62     Section 2.  Such repeal shall not affect the prosecution of
63any cause of action that accrued before the effective date of
64this act and shall not affect the rules, regulations, policies,
65actions, decisions, contracts, agreements, obligations, and
66properties of the Hillsborough County School District or the
67School Board of Hillsborough County existing prior to the
68effective date of this act.
69     Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
