14 On page 25, line 10, through page 26, line 1, delete
15 those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (c)1. If the kindergarten readiness rate of a private
19 prekindergarten provider or public school falls below the
20 minimum rate adopted by the State Board of Education as
21 satisfactory under s. 1002.69(6), the early learning coalition
22 or school district, as applicable, shall require the provider
23 or school to take certain corrective actions, including the
24 use of a curriculum approved by the department under paragraph
25 (2)(c), and to submit an improvement plan for approval by the
26 coalition or school district, as applicable, and to implement
27 the plan.
28 2. If a private prekindergarten provider or public
29 school fails to meet the minimum rate adopted by the State
30 Board of Education as satisfactory under s. 1002.69(6) for 2
31 consecutive years, the early learning coalition or school

1 district, as applicable, shall place the provider or school on
2 probation. A private prekindergarten provider or public school
3 that is placed on probation must continue the corrective
4 actions required under subparagraph 1., including the use of a
5 curriculum approved by the department, until the provider or
6 school meets the minimum rate adopted by the State Board of
7 Education as satisfactory under s. 1002.69(6).
