15 On page 11, lines 11-25, delete those lines

17 and insert:
18 (6)(a) A parent may enroll his or her child with any
19 private prekindergarten provider that is eligible to deliver
20 the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program under this
21 part, subject to available space. Each private prekindergarten
22 provider must, when registering with the early learning
23 coalition and at least once each year in accordance with
24 requirements established by the Agency for Workforce
25 Innovation, certify to the coalition the number of students to
26 be admitted by the provider for each prekindergarten program.
27 A private prekindergarten provider must admit each child
28 enrolling in a prekindergarten program on a first-come,
29 first-served basis in the order in which the children apply,
30 subject to available space as reflected by the provider's
31 certified number of students to be admitted. An early learning

1 coalition may not limit the number of students admitted by any
2 private prekindergarten provider for enrollment in the
3 program. However, this paragraph does not authorize an early
4 learning coalition to allow a provider to exceed any
5 staff-to-children ratio, square footage per child, or other
6 requirement imposed under ss. 402.301-402.319 as a result of
7 admissions in the prekindergarten program.
8 (b) A parent may enroll his or her child with any
9 public school within the school district which is eligible to
10 deliver the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program under
11 this part, subject to available space. Each public school
12 must, when registering with the early learning coalition and
13 at least once each year in accordance with requirements
14 established by the Agency for Workforce Innovation, certify to
15 the coalition the number of students to be admitted by the
16 school for each prekindergarten program. A public school must
17 admit each child enrolling in a prekindergarten program on a
18 first-come, first-served basis in the order in which the
19 children apply, subject to available space as reflected by the
20 school's certified number of students to be admitted. Each
