1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to discount medical plan organizations;
3	delaying the date by which such an organization or
4	marketer must comply with the requirements of pt. II of
5	ch. 636, F.S., relating to the licensure and regulation of
6	discount medical plan organizations; providing an
7	effective date.

9	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11	Section 1.  Notwithstanding the effective date of January
12	1, 2005, specified in section 31 of chapter 2004-297, Laws of
13	Florida, a person who does business as a discount medical plan
14	organization or who markets a discount medical plan is not
15	subject to the requirements of part II of chapter 636, Florida
16	Statutes, until March 31, 2005.
17	Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
