11  The Committee on Health Care (Fasano) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 4, between lines 24 and 25,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 10.  The sum of $1.5 million is appropriated
19  from the General Revenue Fund to the Florida Center for
20  Nursing for the purpose of conducting a study to determine the
21  impact of a program to "fast-track BSN to graduate degrees" on
22  the preparation of clinical nurses capable of addressing the
23  nursing shortage in this state. Further, these funds are
24  appropriated to provide for the necessary analysis of data and
25  planning to implement recommendations made by the Florida
26  Center for Nursing in addressing the nursing shortage.
