12 following amendment:

15 On page 5, between lines 7 and 8,

17 insert:
18 (3)(a) As used in this subsection, the term:
19 1. Pyrotechnic Material--A chemical mixture used in
20 the entertainment industry to produce visible or audible
21 effects by combustion, deflagration or detonation. Such a
22 chemical mixture consists predominantly of solids capable of
23 producing a controlled, self sustaining, and self-contained
24 exothermic chemical reaction that result in heat, gas, sound,
25 light or a combination of these effects. The chemical reaction
26 functions without external oxygen.
27 2. Pyrotechnic display--A special effect created
28 through the use of pyrotechnic materials and devices.
29 3. Pyrotechnic device--Any devise containing
30 pyrotechnic materials and capable of producing a special
31 effect as defined in this standard.
