11  The Committee on Health Care (Rich) recommended the following
12  amendment to amendment (914420):

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3, lines 1-8, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  physician specializes in mental health care for
18  children and adolescents, the court may not order the
19  discontinuation of prescribed psychotropic medication unless
20  the required opinion is also from a physician who specializes
21  in mental health care for children and adolescents. The court
22  may also order the discontinuation of prescribed psychotropic
23  medication if a child's treating physician, licensed under
24  chapter 458 or chapter 459, states that continuing the
25  prescribed psychotropic medication would cause significant
26  harm to the child due to a diagnosed nonpsychiatric medical
27  condition.
