11  The Committee on Health Care (Rich) recommended the following
12  amendment to amendment (914420):

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3, lines 1-8, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  psychiatrist specializes in mental health care
18  for children and adolescents, the court may not order the
19  discontinuation of prescribed psychotropic medication unless
20  the required opinion is also from a psychiatrist who
21  specializes in mental health care for children and
22  adolescents. The court may also order the discontinuation of
23  prescribed psychotropic medication if a child's treating
24  physician, licensed under chapter 458 or chapter 459, states
25  that continuing the prescribed psychotropic medication would
26  cause significant harm to the child due to a diagnosed
27  nonpsychiatric medical condition.
