11  Senator Smith moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 4, lines 15 through 27, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         2.  Any information related to the best interests of a
18  child, as determined by a guardian ad litem, which is held by
19  a guardian ad litem, including but not limited to medical,
20  mental health, substance abuse, child care, education, law
21  enforcement, court, social services, and financial records;
22  and any other information maintained by a guardian ad litem
23  which is identified as confidential information under this
24  chapter; is confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s.
25  24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution. Such confidential and
26  exempt information may not be disclosed to anyone other than
27  the authorized personnel of the court, the department and its
28  designees, correctional probation officers, law enforcement
29  agents, guardians ad litem, and others entitled under this
30  chapter to receive that information, except upon order of the
31  court. This subparagraph is subject to the Open Government

 1  Sunset Review Act of 1995 in accordance with s. 119.15, and
 2  shall stand repealed on October 2, 2010, unless reviewed and
