12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, between lines 8 and 9,

17  insert:  
18         Section 1.  Subsection (84) is added to section
19  316.003, Florida Statutes, to read:
20         316.003  Definitions.--The following words and phrases,
21  when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings
22  respectively ascribed to them in this section, except where
23  the context otherwise requires:
24         (84)  VICTIM SERVICES PROGRAMS.--Any community-based
25  organization whose primary purpose is to act as an advocate
26  for the victims and survivors of traffic crashes and for their
27  families. The victims services offered by these programs may
28  include grief and crisis counseling, assistance with preparing
29  victim compensation claims or connecting persons with other
30  service providers, and providing emergency financial
31  assistance.
