12 (Sebesta) recommended the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 4, between lines 27 and 28,

17 insert:
18 (8) EXPIRATION.--The council shall cease to exist on
19 December 31, 2010. Before that date, the council may establish
20 a not-for-profit corporation to carry on its duties. If such a
21 not-for-profit corporation is established, any moneys
22 remaining in the Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund which were
23 deposited into the fund by the council shall be transferred to
24 the not-for-profit corporation.
