11 The Committee on Community Affairs (Bennett) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 5, between lines 15 and 16,
16
17 insert:
18 Section 3. The governing body of a local government
19 may not seek to consolidate or vacate all or part of a
20 subdivision if 30 percent or more of the lands in the
21 subdivision are in single ownership and that owner does not
22 consent to the consolidation or vacation.
23 Section 4. Notwithstanding section 163.3164(32),
24 Florida Statutes, the definition of an antiquated subdivision
25 does not apply to a subdivision that has been approved or
26 recorded again no later than 1 year after July 1, 2005.
