| 7 | Beach County; providing for annexation of specified area; |
| 8 | transferring land from the Lake Worth Drainage District to |
| 9 | the Acme Improvement District; requiring a referendum; |
| 10 | providing an effective date. |

| 12 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 13 |
|
| 14 | Section 1. Extension of district boundaries; Area A.-- |
| 15 | (1) The Acme Improvement District shall call and the |
| 16 | Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County shall conduct a |
| 17 | referendum on or before December 30, 2006, in accordance with |
| 18 | provisions of law relating to elections currently in force. The |
| 19 | purpose of said referendum shall be to determine whether the |
| 20 | lands within Area A as described in subsection (2) will be |
| 21 | included within the territorial limits of the district and |
| 22 | subject to assessment. Only those registered voters residing |
| 23 | within Area A and only those registered voters residing within |
| 24 | the existing territorial limits of the district may vote in said |
| 25 | referendum. |
| 26 | (2) The legal description of Area A is as follows: |

| 28 | A parcel of land lying in Sections 13 and 24, Township |
| 29 | 44 S, Range 41 E, and being parts of Lots 1 and 8 and |
| 30 | all of Lots 2 through 7 of Block 26 and a portion of a |
| 31 | 25 foot road right of way, as shown on Palm Beach |
| 32 | Farms Plat No. 3, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Pages 45 |
| 33 | through 54 in the Records Office for Palm Beach |
| 34 | County, Florida. |
