9 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
10 |
|
11 | Section 1. Paragraph (e) of subsection (1) and subsection |
12 | (3) of section 369.324, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: |
13 | 369.324 Wekiva River Basin Commission.-- |
14 | (1) The Wekiva River Basin Commission is created to |
15 | monitor and ensure the implementation of the recommendations of |
16 | the Wekiva River Basin Coordinating Committee for the Wekiva |
17 | Study Area. The East Central Florida Regional Planning Council |
18 | shall provide staff support to the commission with funding |
19 | assistance from the Department of Community Affairs. The |
20 | commission shall be comprised of a total of 19 members appointed |
21 | by the Governor, 9 of whom shall be voting members and 10 shall |
22 | be ad hoc nonvoting members. The voting members shall include: |
23 | (e) One citizen representing an environmental or |
24 | conservation organization, one citizen representing a local |
25 | property owner, a land developer, or an agricultural entity, and |
26 | one at-large citizen who shall serve as chair chairman of the |
27 | council. |
28 | (3) Meetings of the commission shall be held in Lake, |
29 | Orange, or Seminole county at the call of the chair chairman, |
30 | but shall meet at least twice a year. |
31 | Section 2. Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section |
32 | 381.92, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: |
33 | 381.92 Florida Cancer Council.-- |

35 | (c) The members of the council shall consist of: |
36 | 1. Chair Chairman of the Florida Dialogue on Cancer, who |
37 | shall serve as the chair chairman of the council; |
38 | 2. Secretary of the Department of Health or his or her |
39 | designee; |
40 | 3. Chief Executive Officer of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer |
41 | Center or his or her designee; |
42 | 4. Director of the University of Florida Shands Cancer |
43 | Center or his or her designee; |
44 | 5. Chief Executive Officer of the University of Miami |
45 | Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center or his or her designee; |
46 | 6. Chief Executive Officer of the Mayo Clinic, |
47 | Jacksonville, or his or her designee; |
48 | 7. Chief Executive Officer of the American Cancer Society, |
49 | Florida Division, Inc., or his or her designee; |
50 | 8. President of the American Cancer Society, Florida |
51 | Division, Inc., Board of Directors or his or her designee; |
52 | 9. President of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology |
53 | or his or her designee; |
54 | 10. President of the American College of Surgeons, Florida |
55 | Chapter, or his or her designee; |
56 | 11. Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Florida, Inc., |
57 | or his or her designee; |
58 | 12. Five representatives from cancer programs approved by |
59 | the American College of Surgeons. Three shall be appointed by |
60 | the Governor, one shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House |
61 | of Representatives, and one shall be appointed by the President |
62 | of the Senate; |
63 | 13. One member of the House of Representatives, to be |
64 | appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives; and |
65 | 14. One member of the Senate, to be appointed by the |
66 | President of the Senate. |
67 | Section 3. Paragraph (a) of subsection (7) of section |
68 | 458.3475, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: |
69 | 458.3475 Anesthesiologist assistants.-- |
70 | (7) ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND ANESTHESIOLOGIST ASSISTANT TO |
71 | ADVISE THE BOARD.-- |
72 | (a) The chairperson chairman of the board may appoint an |
73 | anesthesiologist and an anesthesiologist assistant to advise the |
74 | board as to the adoption of rules for the licensure of |
75 | anesthesiologist assistants. The board may use a committee |
76 | structure that is most practicable in order to receive any |
77 | recommendations to the board regarding rules and all matters |
78 | relating to anesthesiologist assistants, including, but not |
79 | limited to, recommendations to improve safety in the clinical |
80 | practices of licensed anesthesiologist assistants. |
81 | Section 4. Paragraph (a) of subsection (7) of section |
82 | 459.023, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: |
83 | 459.023 Anesthesiologist assistants.-- |
84 | (7) ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND ANESTHESIOLOGIST ASSISTANT TO |

103 | after adjournment sine die of the session of the Legislature in |
104 | which enacted. |
