12 (Campbell) recommended the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, lines 16-21, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: estimated tax shall be deemed paid either at the
18 time the taxpayer files its return under this code or at the
19 time such return is required to be filed under this code
20 determined with regard to any extensions of time allowed to
21 the taxpayer under s. 213.055(2)(a) or s. 220.222 for filing
22 such return without regard to any extension thereof, whichever
23 occurs first, and not at such earlier time as such payments of
24 estimated tax were actually made. This paragraph shall apply
25 retroactively to tax years beginning on or after January 1,
26 2001.
