2 An act relating to trust funds; terminating the
3 Florida Preservation 2000 Trust Fund and the
4 Federal Law Enforcement Trust Fund within the
5 Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission;
6 providing for the disposition of balances in
7 and revenues of the trust funds; prescribing
8 procedures for the termination of the trust
9 funds; providing an effective date.

11 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13 Section 1. (1) The Florida Preservation 2000 Trust
14 Fund within the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission,
15 FLAIR number 77-2-332, is terminated.
16 (2) All current balances remaining in, and all
17 revenues of, the trust fund shall be transferred to the
18 Florida Forever Program Trust Fund within the Fish and
19 Wildlife Conservation Commission, FLAIR number 77-2-349.
20 (3) The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
21 shall pay any outstanding debts and obligations of the
22 terminated fund as soon as practicable, and the Chief
23 Financial Officer shall close out and remove the terminated
24 fund from the various state accounting systems using generally
25 accepted accounting principles concerning warrants
26 outstanding, assets, and liabilities.
27 Section 2. (1) The Federal Law Enforcement Trust Fund
28 within the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, FLAIR
29 number 77-2-719, is terminated.
30 (2) All current balances remaining in, and all
31 revenues of, the trust fund shall be transferred to the

3 (3) The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

10 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
