  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating s.

  3         372.101, F.S.; creating the Administrative

  4         Trust Fund within the Fish and Wildlife

  5         Conservation Commission; providing for sources

  6         of funds and purposes; providing for future

  7         review and termination or re-creation of the

  8         trust fund; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Section 372.101, Florida Statutes, is

13  created to read:

14         372.101  Administrative Trust Fund.--

15         (1)  The Administrative Trust Fund is created within

16  the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

17         (2)  The fund is established for use as a depository

18  for funds to be used for management activities that are

19  commission-wide in nature and funded by indirect cost earnings

20  or assessments against trust funds. Moneys to be credited to

21  the trust fund include indirect cost reimbursements from

22  grantors, administrative assessments against trust funds,

23  interest earnings, and other appropriate administrative fees.

24         (3)  In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the

25  State Constitution, the Administrative Trust Fund shall,

26  unless terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2009.

27  Before its scheduled termination, the trust fund shall be

28  reviewed as provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2).

29         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
